I do not see any shame mentioned in this article. It just described the reality - the US and other Western countries cannot force China to cooperate on Iran and Korean issues. They also acknowledged that expecting China to buy Carbon reduction bill is like a day dream. They still hope (and scratch their head to try to find some reasons to support their hope (in stock trading, it is called "wishful thinking") that China will continue to buy the bonds issued by the US and other European countries. The end of the article exhibits their frustration and desperation. On the other hand, they did point out that China cannot force the US not to sell arms to Taiwan or use force to reunite Taiwan. We can use the same words to show our frustration - so what, Taiwan is not in Beijing's control for 50 years, Taiwan getting a few missles and ships does not make things worse. |
