1. flat open, largely overlapping bars with long tails, possible range day?
2. strong down and strong up, higher high, breakout pullback or failed breakout? need second entry to confirm.
3. new high, it looks like a failed break down. the up move was 6 consecutive bull bars, very strong so don't short even there is a lower low, wait for second entry.
4. two-legged pullback to EMA, second higher high, long!
5. new high.
6. another new high. buy now, it should confirmed this is a strong up trend day, now the strategy is very easy, buy pullback. don't short!
7. first touch of EMA after two hours, buy setup.
8. another new high
9. 2:00-2:30 contertrend pullback, runs stops. some breakeven stops of bar 7 were taken out here.
10. second higher high after two-legged pullback to EMA after day high at 8, good buy setup but it was stopped out at 11.
11. stops were taken out from bar 10 long. looks like the market will go down but it was immediately reversed next strong bull bar.
12. bar 11 turns out to be a bear trap. now it's a failed failure, ie, failure of bar 10 long failed. this is a reliable long here and market indeed went up to another new high.
13. spike, market overshoot a trendline (usually a reversal sign). out most long of the day.
14. second lower low, out all longs. also, here is the only good short setup, but since market is strong and it's late of the day, this at most a scalp.
the most important thing of DT (or all kinds of trading) is to follow the trend. |
