taken Nov low has high odds; after that, walk one step and watch one step. But from the chart, I think the odds to test Jul or Aug low is fairly decent.

ES pattern from July is clear spike up and up channel.  Form Nov-Dec, it formed horizontal pattern which led to the final flag and a measured move. Actually I didn't think the target could be hit, but it did.

Once channel is broken, price normally will come back to the origin of the channel, which is the Aug low area. So in my mind, this should be expected. Measure move target (so far) also is in that neighborhood.

today afternoon there's also a little spike and channel down. First time to break out normally fails, which it did here. But even if fails, it doesn't mean you cannot go long. Sometimes it just takes off after climax run. In channel, it's tough to trade counter trend.
If it breaks out, 1079-1080 should be the target.
