Mr Lavrov's daughter and Russian president Vladimir Putin's two daughters have been sanctioned by the UK and US governments. The women are subject to a travel ban and asset freezes. "Our unprecedented package of sanctions is hitting the elite and their families," said UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
