Pfizer (More breaking news more good news at close of day today-NYSE:PFE) is planning to apply for FDA’s emergency use authorization in August for a third shot of its COVID-19 vaccine.
In the post-market, the shares of the company and BioNTech (NASDAQ:BNTX) its partner in COVID-19 vaccine development is rising on the news.
Early data has reportedly indicated that the neutralizing antibody level generated in response to a third shot were 5x – 10x higher than that following the second dose. PFE shares moving up after hours.
