AAPL in red two days post ER. But market shoot-up nearly 30 pts. MM-biased.

Amazon.com (AMZN) this afternoon reported Q2 revenue and earnings per share below analysts’ estimates, and forecast the current quarter’s revenue well below consensus.

Revenue in the three months ended in June rose 29.5%, year over year, to $12.83 billion, yielding EPS of a penny per share.

Analysts on averaged had been modeling $12.9 billion and two cents per share.

For the current quarter, the company sees revenue in a range of $12.9 billion to $14.3 billion, which is below the consensus $14.1 billion.
