Another Strong Start to the Year: Been There, Done That

With a gain of more than 1% in early trading, the S&P 500 is certainly starting off the year on a positive note.  If you are feeling a sense of deja vu, that is because we are now on pace for the fourth straight year where the S&P 500 has gained more than 1% on the first trading day of the year.
