Actually, it's possible for both to be right. The chart used in the cycle analysis is slightly misleading. It doesn't include last week's price actions. If you look at the cycle chart carefully, the cycle could start from high to high (with prices trending lower subsequently), high to low (with price trending higher subsequently), low to high (with price trending lower subsequently) or low to low (with price trending higher subsequently). Given the dip we have had last week, the full S&P price chart is already dipping down. It is possible that the cycle ends on a low and we will see higher prices to come under both cycle analysis and seasonalities.
